14th of January

4.57pm Monday afternoon. Sorry for the very scarce updates, but I do not have so much new information, since it it all second hand and I have not received so much lately. However though, from what I have heard, she is doing ok with sone days requiring a bit more sleep and rest than others. There are various of new tools she is using so I am interested in speaking to the therapist in a week or so for me to acquire some sort of the same things here. Obviously this been a rather small island, many of these things has to be purchased abroad and ship here, so the sooner the better,
The kids are fine and Ludwig has found a new friend rather quickly. Jonathan seem to have many contacts with no one in particular being his "best mate". Camille is a bit more tricky, and will have to have some more time finding a good friend. I wish I could post a picture of them, but I have some techincal problems not having all my stuff here from Singapore yet, so you will have to wait.

Great to hear.... I imagine the new equipment they have Janna using would be tiring her more easily until she gets used to them.

Great to hear about the boys, I love the mention of the word "mate" you obviously picked that up from your days in OZ......
Kisses to Camille, and Emma says hello!

Please tell Jaana that myself and the other Mum's all miss her.

Hope you can post a pic of the kids soon!ENJOY

Just a note from Sweden.

Jaana is doing fine, using new kind of equipment that she did not have access to in singapore. For example exercise bikes that can be used laying down etc. This will help her regain strength faster. Although she still have ways to come, she is improving everyday. The staff at Humlegarden is very supporting. Clearly Hunlegarden deserves their status as a reputable rehabilitation institution. Jaana also borrowed a new comfortable wheelchair that will give her muscles more rest, and make sure he skeleton etc does not get harmed. I believe she will get her own to bring to Barbados.

Her mother visits her essentially everyday and participates in many of the events to support her. Jorgen of course calls multiple times a day, and we visit her on a regular basis.

The big down side is that she misses her family, but the consilation is that this is a limited time arrangement and hopefully she will return to them in a significantly improved state.
